Phil's his-story; It all started... with the brutally cold winter of 1961... As I hear it...people had to sleep really close to each other just to keep warm...
Now-a-days, Phil is a forty-something year old guy living on the Central Coast of California.
Phil's "day-job" is as Mechanical Engineer for a large air conditioning products distributor. Prior to this position, Phil served as their "Manager of Customer Assurance". In this position, he was responsible for Technical Support, Service Technical Training, Consumer Relations and Warranty Administration. One of our teams' proudest moments was being awarded...for a third consecutive year...the award for "Consumer Relations and Customer Technical Trainer of the Year" by Carrier Corporation. One of Phil's "night jobs" is as a freelance writer. Phil has been published in many periodicals such as Popular Science Magazine, the AHSRAE Journal (for the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers), and other trade-related publications. Most recently, Phil completed a series of articles for the "Indoor Comfort News" (an HVAC trade magazine). Phil's other night job is as a freelance educator with over two decades of experience teaching for a diverse group which includes; Carrier Corporation, Orange Coast College (in Costa Mesa, California), The Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries (aka I.H.A.C.I.), E. B. Ward & Company (San Francisco, California), the Southern California Air Conditioning Distributors and US Airconditioning Distributors.
Phil (and family) attend Church for Life (a non-denominational, gospel based, Christian church) in Santa Maria, California.
